This behind-the-scenes demo shows how our mobile projection system brings cinematic visuals directly to your set — with natural reflections, immersive depth, and zero green spill.

How It Works:

Let’s discuss your project and how we can best assist you in achieving your vision. If it’s creative projection, we’ll review your visuals and advise on the best way to prepare them for the shoot.

If it’s driving, we’ll help you select background driving plates from our library—or use your supplied plates. If you need custom plates or on-screen content captured, we can produce that as well (rates quoted on request).

We handle file prep, formatting, and looping so everyone knows exactly what will be on screen.

Plan

Build & Coordinate

Our team arrives the day before your shoot, fully self-contained—with screen, projector(s), lighting kit, and our computer/playback system (“brain bar”).

Our Projection Crew handles load-in, rigging, and projector alignment, and builds the brain bar (cabling, routing, and signal checks at the screens) while we coordinate with your team so lighting and blocking can move seamlessly.

The result: shoot day is camera-ready.

Shoot Day Support

We run playback, handle cues and loops, and keep the background consistent take after take.

Image-based lighting links the background with your talent for natural reflections and depth.

Standard day: 12-hour shoot. Day-before load-in/rig included.

1. CREATIVE PROJECTION PACKAGE

(On-location backgrounds for Films, Music Videos, Commercials & More)

Flexible cinematic background projection brought directly to your set. Perfect for narrative films, music videos, commercials, set extensions, and artistic shoots.

  • We transport and rig all gear to and from your location.

  • One 16×9 framed rear projection screen

  • Projectors: One 20,000 lumens projector

  • Computer/playback system (“Brain Bar”)

  • Projection Crew (4 people)

  • Full LED lighting kit: 2× Aputure Nova 600C, 2× Quasar Double Rainbow 4′, 2× Aputure 300x with Fresnel rims.

  • Armless treadmill and hazer (available on request at no extra cost).

  • Image-based lighting via sACN (Streaming ACN) over Ethernet using Quasar tube lights.

2. DRIVING PROJECTION PACKAGE

(Rear Projection Driving Scenes for Film, TV, Commercials & More)

Designed specifically for cinematic driving scenes in film, TV, commercials, music videos, and narrative work.

  • We transport and rig all gear to and from your location.

  • Two projection screens: 16×9 framed rear screen + 12×12 framed top screen (for windshield reflections)

  • Projectors: One 20,000 lumens + one 10,000 lumens

  • Rolling 55″ talent monitor (for driver POV)

  • Computer/playback system (“Brain Bar”)

  • Projection Crew (4 people)

  • Full LED lighting kit: 2× Aputure Nova 600C, 2× Quasar Double Rainbow 4′, 2× Aputure 300x with Fresnel rims.

  • Includes access to our HollywoodDrivingPlates.com cinematic driving plates library (or we’ll use your supplied content).

  • Hazer (available on request at no extra cost).

  • Image-based lighting via sACN (Streaming ACN) over Ethernet using Quasar tube lights.
